Strategine Trace
One operating picture for responsible business.
Trace is the accountability platform we are building to connect risk signals, evidence, ownership, response, and leadership decisions—without erasing the systems and knowledge organisations already rely on. It is how Strategine's Responsible Business Intelligence capability becomes operational.

Why Trace
A dashboard can display data. Trace is being built to explain what needs a decision.
Most organisations already hold important pieces of the picture. Grievances, incidents, audits, supplier records, corrective actions, and field observations are simply managed by different teams, in different formats, at different speeds. Leaders see summaries; the relationships between the signals are harder to see.
Trace is designed to connect those relationships. A concern should lead to context and evidence; evidence should support a judgement; a judgement should have an owner and a response; and follow-up should show whether the response worked. Leadership should be able to see material exceptions and unresolved decisions without reconstructing the story from scratch.
The Trace software platform is in active development. Today, Strategine applies the same operating model through focused engagements: mapping signals, evidence, ownership, and review around an organisation's real context. That approach informed our work with Del Monte Kenya case study.
The Trace model
Four connected capabilities, organised around one decision loop.
Risk Visibility
Bring grievances, findings, incidents, worker feedback, and field observations into one view so patterns are visible before they become crises.
Evidence Structure
Connect each concern to its source, decision, owner, action, and follow-up so the record explains what happened—not merely what was reported.
Response Tracking
Make responsibility explicit, follow action through to completion, and check whether the response changed the underlying risk.
Leadership Reporting
Give leaders a current, evidence-linked view of material risk, overdue response, and the decisions that need their attention.
Who Trace is for
Built for the teams managing responsible business risk.
Trace supports the people who need a shared view of risk, evidence, and progress across every domain that feeds into responsible-business oversight — whether that means proving due diligence to a buyer, briefing leadership, or coordinating a response across departments.

How Trace works
Start with the operating problem, then shape the system around it.
While the platform is being built, engagements use the Trace model to strengthen the structures, governance, and review rhythm an organisation can use now.
Frame the decision
Define what the organisation needs to understand or decide, who carries the responsibility, and why the current view is insufficient.
Map the picture
Locate the signals, evidence, context, owners, and review routines that already exist, including where information is fragmented or silent.
Connect the system
Shape risk visibility, evidence, response tracking, and leadership review around the organisation's operating reality and existing tools.
Use and learn
Embed a review rhythm, test whether the view supports better decisions, and improve the structure as the organisation learns what works.
Next step
Begin with the decision your current information cannot support.
We will map the signals, evidence, owners, and response around that decision—and explain where the Trace model can create a clearer operating picture today.
