We call this Responsible Business Intelligence: the organisational capability to connect fragmented signals, evidence, context, ownership, and response into a view that supports better decisions about people and the environment.
Our work can include risk and evidence structures, governance policies, accountability routines, leadership reporting, and the operating model behind Trace. The aim is not more reporting. It is earlier understanding, clearer responsibility, and a response the organisation can examine and improve.

Business should not be surprised by preventable harm.
We hold that belief because the alternative is common: organisations that are diligent on paper are still surprised by harm in practice, because recording that something happened is not the same as recognising its significance in time to act on it.
Human rights and environmental due diligence informs how we work, but it does not limit it: the same discipline applies wherever a responsible decision depends on context, evidence, ownership, and follow-through—whichever policy or framework happens to name it.

Strategine is based in Nairobi, close to the realities of African production, employment, communities, export markets, and global value chains. That proximity shapes how we listen, test assumptions, and distinguish a formal requirement from the reality it is meant to improve.
Our work is sector-neutral. We do not assume one geography, industry, or framework has all the answers. We use local context as a source of intelligence, while designing accountability structures that can support organisations and value chains operating across borders.
